It promotes and supports volunteering through advocacy, knowledge sharing and capacity building & training, produces services, interventions, support and development for organizations and the world of solidarity.
General objective of the Project is to improve the development of key skills (social and civic skills and initiative) in the context of the system of higher education (age 15-19 ), to enforce the opportunities to combine school / work experiences and to facilitate the transition from the education system to the job.
The project aims to bring a specific educational session dedicated to voluntary work (in terms of theoretical and practical) in school.
Specific activities are:
- Build and test a common validation of informal skills acquired through voluntary experiences, fostering its recognition by institutional and private actors on the own territories;
- build and test a training kit, set on tools of new technologies, to train the teachers on the recognition and validation of competences acquired during voluntary work.
The project will last about 36 months.
The deadline for the partner search is 30st January 2013.
We ask you to be so kind to disseminate the partner search among your local and regional contacts (Schools, public authorities and organizations supporting schools and working with them)
